When it comes to virtual reality and war games, Front Defense is one of the most realistic. For, the augmented reality defense in the game is superior. As such, the game, based on actual events in World War II has some of the best action, graphics and scenery when it comes to VR based first shooter games.

Front Defense is an arcade style based VR shooter game set at the end of World War II. While the invasion at Normandy is over, other firefights in the war have just started. At this point, Front Defense puts the player in the place of an Allied Forces hero attempting to fight off the last attacks by the Axis in a fictional town.

Very realistic in style and scope, the game allows the player to hide out behind various well armed and patrolled positions while ducking, diving, switching and reloading weapons. The weapons include everything from grenades to man-mounted guns and assault rifles. For, when it comes to defeating the enemy, players often need help from as many different resources as possible.

Created by some of the best developers and designers, the game provides the heaviest weaponry possible, reflecting the reality of World War II. As with war, the game uses precision, VR, battlefield and room scaling to provide realistic scenes which have been known to leave players feeling like active members of a unit during the war. For, the main priority behind Front Defense was to leave players feeling as if one were actually at war.

Front Defense is often reported to be one of the most intense, active and realistic games available. For, the intensity and experience of the WWII shooter is the first to use precision tracking and room scaling. As a result, the player has the power to create positions which are more strategic and highlighted when enemy forces take over a European town. While the game is based in actual events, some scenes may be different in architectural style than during World War II.

Other features include, a wide choice of weaponry including the previously mentioned grenades and firearms, dive bombers, armored cars, tanks and other heavy equipment in an effort to defeat the enemy. When it comes to the finale, the end of the game provides an opportunity for the shooter to battle a mysterious Axis super powered weapon which has left many players feeling the finale was more than climatic.

While these games have often been controversial, it seems most are becoming more accepted. For, it has been discovered that a number of individuals have been using the games for stress relief, which could actually provide positive aspects. At the same time, it is recommended that children under 18 be supervised whether playing Front Defense or other first shooter games.

The overall primary features are that the game is a single player model with steam leader boards. Before beginning play, it is important to note that Front Defense is a Windows based game and can be played with Windows 7 and beyond, noting that software prior to Windows 7 is not compatible. Whereas, the game has a 12GB RAM and NVIDIA graphics interface which provides some of the most color and detailed scenes than most other games on the market.
